  • How do I apply for Affirm financing for my online purchase?
    It’s easy! We’ve integrated it into the checkout process. All you have to do is choose Affirm as your payment option. The application takes only a few moments and you’ll come right back to the next step in your checkout process subject to credit approval.   • Do I have to use my Affirm approved credit right away?
    The approved credit from Affirm is valid for up to 24 hours, which you can use to fund multiple purchases on our website. If you surpass 24 hours, you will need to repeat the Affirm evaluation process.
  • How do I complete my transaction with Affirm?
    Your financing with Affirm is integrated right into our checkout process. Once you choose Affirm as your payment option, you'll be taken to their application (which only takes a few moments) and then be directed right back to the next step in your checkout process. Easy-peasy!
  • Is there a minimum online funding amount?
    Affirm will happily fund your online purchase starting from $250, subject to credit approval.
  • Which payment plan terms are available?
    Affirm offers payment plans starting from 6-12 months.
  • Does Affirm allow co-signers?
    Co-signers are available for any in-store transactions, but not online for the moment. Come check it out at your nearest Sleep Country location.
  • How do I make my Affirm payments?
    Affirm currently accepts pre-authorized debit payments from your Canadian bank account or a debit card. Available payment methods may vary depending on the payment plan selected. Please note that prepaid cards are not accepted.

Customer Service
  • What is your Green Glove Delivery service?
    You can choose to upgrade to Green Glove Delivery at checkout, which includes delivery to the room of your choice as well as complete setup and assembly of your bed. We'll also take care of your old mattress, base and/or boxspring as well as all excess packaging. What happens to your old items? Sleep well knowing all collected products are either donated to someone in need in your community or fully recycled. We will call you in advance and give you a 3-hour delivery window so you don't have to wait around home all day. And our Green Glove delivery teams are professional, courteous and friendly: they even put on booties to protect your floor in your home. If you don't need all the bells and whistles, our Free Standard Delivery will drop off your purchase right to your door when you buy a mattress or another large item from us, either in-store or online.
  • What is your 100 Night Comfort Guarantee?

    We want to make sure you enjoy your best sleep every night. As your Sleep Experts, we understand it can take time to fully adjust to a new mattress, which is why we've given you 100 nights to ensure it's the right fit. If you feel it's not, you're welcome to exchange it within that period. Simply contact our Sleep Experts via phone, in-store, or online, and we'll assist you in finding the perfect match.

  • What is a Certified Pre-Owned Model (CPM)?
    Certified Pre-Owned Models (CPM) are products that have been returned as part of our 100-Night Comfort Guarantee program and are available for in-store only purchase at a discounted price. CPM products go through a rigorous, multi-step quality assurance process that includes inspection, sanitization and disinfection, and complies with all health and safety regulations. We follow the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) regulations for all provinces nationally. These products are clearly labelled with an orange tag in compliance with TSSA and provincial laws. These products are sold as Final Sale and come with a full manufacturer’s warranty. Products that do not pass our stringent inspection for resale are donated to local charities through our Bed Donation program and/or recycled through our national recycling program that has saved thousands of beds from landfills.   • What do I do if I have received my product and I noticed that it was damaged?
    If your mattress arrives damaged, please Contact Us within 48 hours of your delivery, and we'll be happy to assist you.
  • Is it normal that my new mattress smells?

    It's normal for most mattresses to give off a certain 'new mattress' odour upon delivery—it just means that it's fresh out of the warehouse. Give it a few days and any smell should wear off.

  • What should I do if a corner guard on my box spring/foundation comes off?

    The corner guards are there to protect the bed if it gets bumped around during delivery. Once the bed is safely in your home, there is no need for the corner guards–feel free to keep or dispose of them!

  • The material on the bottom of the box spring/foundation has torn; should I be concerned?
    That’s just a cosmetic finish, no need for you to be concerned. It doesn’t affect the bed’s performance or your warranty, so rest easy!
  • What if my new mattress is not comfortable?

    Not totally satisfied with your new mattress? No problem. All of our mattresses are covered by our 100-Night Comfort Guarantee, meaning you have up to 100 nights to exchange it for another mattress better suited to your sleep style. Learn more about our Comfort Guarantee here.

  • How do I know if I need a new frame?

    Frames are very important, so we strongly recommend a new one when you buy a new mattress, especially for today’s heavier-duty mattress sets. You want to set up your mattress for success, with a strong metal frame’s centre support. This means that your bed should have at least five legs (especially centre) or five hardwood cross slats.

  • What is a body impression? Is it a defect?

    Today’s mattresses are designed with cushioning and upholstery that conform to the shape of your body. As you sleep on your new mattress, you should begin to see body impressions—this is perfectly normal. It shows that your new mattress is conforming to your body’s shape to provide maximum support and contour where you need it most.

  • What is Sleep Country Canada doing in terms of Website accessibility?

    Depending on what you purchased, we will deliver to you in one of the following ways:

    Courier Delivery

    • For smaller parcels and packages. Once your order is processed, please allow 3-5 business days for it to arrive

    Truck Delivery

    • Free Standard Delivery: No-contact delivery to the inside of your front door, side door or garage
      • Always free if order is $75+ *
    • Green Glove Delivery: Our full service in-home delivery to the room of your choice, with complete assembly and setup of your mattress, base or furniture, removal of all excess packaging, as well as recycling of your old mattress, base or boxspring.

  • How do I get ready for my delivery of my mattress or bed?
    Go ahead and strip the linens from your old bed, detach any existing headboards/footboards from your old frame, rearrange furniture if necessary – and watch out for any dust bunnies you reveal! So we can reach your delivery destination safe and damage-free, we recommend you remove any obstacles and fragile items – that is, clear us a path! During winter, please shovel and de-ice your walkway. All year long, rain or shine, our Green Glove delivery professionals will show up with their protective booties for inside.
  • Do I need to get rid of my old mattress before the new one comes?
    You can, but our drivers are happy to do that for you. Our enhanced Green Glove Delivery is a full service offering that provides you with delivery to the room of your choice as well as complete assembly and setup of your new bed. We will also remove your old mattress, base and/or boxspring as well as all excess packaging. Sleep well knowing that all collected products are either donated to charity or fully recycled to help support the circular economy. We are dedicated to diverting all packaging and product from landfill and do our part to support the environment and our communities while building a greener future for a better tomorrow.

Warranty Claims
  • How long is my mattress warranty coverage?

    It depends on your mattress, so please check your warranty card. Most have warranties for about 10 years, but they do vary.

  • How long is my Bloom™ warranty coverage?

    While we are very proud to offer a 10-year warranty for all our Bloom™ mattresses, it's important to note that there is an exception for the Bloom™ River mattress, which comes with a 5-year warranty. However, for those seeking extended protection, you can opt for our Extend program, which can extend the warranty for an additional 1 to 10 years, and 10 years for our adjustable bases.

  • What is a pro-rated warranty?

    It means that you can anticipate incurring a pro-rated usage charge if bedding is returned after undergoing a free repair, or if the replacement period has lapsed. Typically, the replacement value decreases for each year the product is in use, gradually depleting the warranty and replacement value. For this reason, we hope our product(s) can assist you in maintaining your energy and vitality without becoming exhausted.

  • Do I need to buy a mattress and box spring/foundation together for my warranty to be valid?

    You can buy your pieces separately and still have a valid warranty. But if your new mattress is matched to an unstable foundation or defective box spring, the mattress warranty will be voided. They really do function better as a pair.

    Today’s mattresses are built heavier and thicker, so it’s possible that some box springs or foundations, whether old or new, won’t be up to the task of supporting the modern loads. Again, that rule of thumb: a mattress and foundation are best matched at purchase.

  • What does my warranty cover?

    Your mattress warranty is not an indicator of how long your mattress should be used before being replaced; it is designed to protect you against defects related to the mattress design and construction. Mattresses ‘wear out’ over time. After flexing thousands of times, springs lose their ability to rebound and support the body. Also, the microscopic cells in foams can break down over time. Typically, after seven to ten years, the decline in support and comfort becomes significant enough to impair your sleep.

    Your warranty covers the following items during normal wear:

    Mattress:

    • Torn handles, stitches pulled out of the handle where sewn to the mattress, or tears in the mattress fabric where the handles are attached.
    • Coils or wires that are loose, broken, protrude or rip through fabric.
    • Body indentations of 1.5" or greater.
    • Sagging: Your mattress must be continuously supported by a matching box spring, or equivalent, with an appropriate frame. The frame should include a rigid centre support with at least 5 legs or a rigid centre support with at least 5 hardwood cross slats for Queen and King sets. A rigid centre support is equal to a support that extends from the frame to the floor.

    Box Spring:

    • Splits in the wood frame.
    • Squeaks, rattles or noises.
    • Bent, loose or defective beams and/or centre support rail.
    • Loose or broken box spring wire.
    • Compression modules.
    • Stapling of modules.
    • Sagging: A proper bed frame must continuously support the box spring. For King and Queen sets, a rigid centre support having at least 5 legs or a rigid centre support having at least 5 hardwood cross slats is necessary. A rigid centre support is equal to a support that extends from the frame to the floor.
  • Is there anything specific that my warranty does not cover?

    Items and damages not specifically listed in the “Warranty Coverage” section are not covered, including, for example:

    • Mattress fabric
    • Structural damage from using an improper bed frame. This warranty applies to Queen and King size mattresses or box springs only if they are used on an appropriate frame with a rigid centre support having at least 5 legs or a rigid centre support having at least 5 hardwood cross slats.
    • Comfort preference
    • Body indentations less than the amount specified on the warranty card. Mattress damage due to an inappropriate box spring/foundation. A mattress is designed for full performance when used in conjunction with a matching box spring as part of a total sleep set.
    • Replacement of another piece in the sleep set, unless such other piece is also defective.
    • Mattress or box spring / foundation damage due to abuse
    • Transportation costs
  • What should I do if I suspect a warranty problem?

    First, read your warranty card carefully so you understand warranty limitations. Keep in mind that warranties may differ by model or manufacturer. If you have any questions, you can contact our customer service department at 1-888-753-3788.

  • What if I am unable to complete the warranty claim within the specified time limit?

    Most consumers find the online warranty simple and convenient to use. However, if you are having difficulties, please call us at 1-888-753-3788 to discuss.

  • What circumstances will cause the manufacturer to decline my warranty?

    Be sure to read your warranty card to understand any warranty limitations. Some warranties become void if the mattress is soiled, certain tags are removed, you no longer have the original receipt or warranty, or if the mattress is used with a defective foundation or frame.

  • Why doesn’t the manufacturer replace my whole set if I have a problem?

    In cases where either the mattress or the box spring alone has a manufacturing defect, only the defective piece will be repaired or replaced. Occasionally, the original cover for the replacement has been discontinued and is not available. The manufacturer will replace the new piece with a cover of equal or greater quality. This will not affect the serviceability of the product or future warranty claims.

  • If I receive a new mattress or box spring / foundation through a warranty claim, does my warranty start over?

    No, the length of your warranty is determined by the date of your original purchase, it does not reset if you get a warranty replacement. Check your manufacturer’s warranty card to determine the length of your warranty period.

  • What is your 100 Night Comfort Guarantee?
